Little Women Is Not About Sisters Competing Over Laurie
Yesterday I came across my local library’s old VHS copy of the 1949 film version of Little Women.
The synopsis on the back cover claims that all four March sisters fall in love with Laurie and paints the whole story as revolving around their competition for him.

*eye roll*
films promotion does heavily suggests that
it´s funny and kinda sad.
this idealization of Laurie has been going on way too long.
none of the films includes his unpleasant elements/his growth out of them.
