One of the things that I have struggled with for years as a content creator is consistency.

I recently started my own business and to keep myself motivated I repeat myself the words that my art business teacher used to say.

When want to make a career in the creative industry be prepared that in the beginning 70% of your time is going to marketing yourself and 30% of the time is for you to focus on creating.

When your business grows (aka more clients/opportunities) that marketing you did, starts paying back and now you only have to do it 30% of the time, and 70% goes to your creative process.

Right now I am at a crossroads where 70% of my time really goes to marketing…and you guessed it…it sucks.

What I really want to do is to go and be creative.

I have tried tailwind. I have tried later and I have tried Hootsuite. I think they are all good scheduling tools but they were all lacking something.

Then I accidentally came across social champ. this post is not sponsored by them. I just like the product and I like it for one simple reason.

It has a feature that allows me to publish the same content into multiple platforms at once.

This means that I can schedule my Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter posts all at the same time. it also has a hefty feature for Twitter for repeating post

Social champ has a free plan which allows you to have three social media accounts and there is no limit to how much you can post. With the paid plan, you can add more than three accounts.

I am in the honeymoon phase with this app and on my way to swap that 70% marketing/ 30% creating upside down, and I start by letting the scheduler do the marketing for me.

If you enjoy reading my content, consider subscribing to my feed. Also, if you are not a Medium member and you would like to gain unlimited access to the platform, consider using my referral link right here to sign up. It’s $5 a month and you get unlimited access to my articles and many others like mine. Thanks.
