How Little Women 1949 Movie Romanticizes Jo and Laurie (When The Book Doesn´t)

The biggest problem with the 1949 and 1933 Little Women is that they hardly show any interactions between Amy and Laurie. I do like that Laurie has a temper in the proposal scene.

A lot of people will say, who cares that Jo and Laurie have a temper, but the temper was the least of their problems. Laurie tried to forcefully kiss Jo and have a physical relationship with her, despite that she said no numerous times and he proposed he threatened to hurt himself.

In the movies 1994 and 2019 and 2017 series, we see a bit more of that interaction between him and Amy but what is mentioned above…is still missing.
